Suggested intervals, not NIU's official schedule; follow the manual where it differs. Tap Done after each check.
Search for a place to see the route, how long it takes and whether your battery will get you there and back.
Searching and routing use OpenStreetMap services (Nominatim and routing.openstreetmap.de). They are sent what you type, your start and end points, and, to favour nearby results, a rough 100 km box around where you are. Nothing is sent until you tap. Routes are for bicycles, which keeps you off motorways but can include paths where scooters are not allowed, so follow local rules and signs. Directions are spoken when Voice is on (using the phone's built-in speech, nothing is sent anywhere) and need the screen on: keep the phone in a mount and only glance when it is safe. Saved places and your parking spot are stored only in this browser.
The scooter doesn't report its own odometer over Bluetooth, so this adds up rides recorded here. Tap "Match scooter" once to line it up with the scooter's display.

This app talks to your scooter with two secrets NIU assigns to it: its Bluetooth password and AES key. They are stored only in this browser, on this device.
Get them once with the open-source niu-kqi tool, which logs in to NIU on your computer and saves them to secrets/scooter.json. Paste that file's contents below, or paste the password and the AES key on two lines.
Find out which values your scooter reports, compare them before and after you do something, and export a report to share. Read-only.
This app only reads status from your scooter and never sends commands. Anyone who can use this browser profile could read the stored keys, so remove them here before handing the device to someone else.
Read-only. This only asks the scooter to report values; it never changes anything. Passwords, PINs, NFC cards and command registers are skipped entirely. Serial numbers, MAC addresses and similar are hidden here and always removed from exports.
